I introduce myself
Alessandra Negroni professional tourist guide
Hi! I’m Alessandra, almost from Rome, since I was born in one of the beautiful towns on the Alban Hills, immediately South of Rome.
Since I was a child I was in love with history and art and I was playing as a tour guide, carrying my own flag! As I grew up, I pursued my passions graduating in Conservation of the Cultural Heritage, then earning two postgraduate specializations in Classical Archaeology and in Christian Archaeology and finally a PhD in Ancient History. But working “only” as an archaeologist wasn’t enough for me!
Now maybe you think I’m a boring professor, but I can guarantee that there isn’t anything more distant from me! I always kept my ironic and easygoing touch, as far as my desire of laughing and having fun, in addiction to living adventure personally.
When, in 2008, I obtained my license as a professional tour guide, I understood I was born for this job. I feel lucky indeed, since I can do what I love: strolling in the most beautiful city in the world, living in close contact with amazing art treasures, breathing history and beauty!
Moreover, since 2013 I decided to launch myself on a greater ordeal, starting to work as a travel consultant too and taking lots of people with me around the world.
Working with kids, adults, couples and groups with different provenience and interests I developed my natural skills in adapting, problem solving and communication at various levels. During years I was so lucky to meet thousands of people from all the world and to show them the most fascinating locations and the traditions of my mother land. And from each person I received the most beautiful gift: a look in love with Rome and Italy!
